While in the Garden Did Eve was Eve a Virgin, Did Adam & Eve have Sex?

NOTE: These were the two ways the questioner ask the question posed!

1st way: Question was eve a virgin in the garden before the transgression?
2nd way: Was eve a virgin before they come of the garden of Eden?

  1. Was Eve a Virgin while in the Garden of Eden before their transgression? The simple answer is No there was no actual physical SEX in the garden between Adam & Eve at that time according to purpose!(Another way of saying it: YES, Eve was a Virgin according to the physical sense of having intercourse with a natural man.) This is a good question because there are some that would like to take the metaphysical thought that there could or should have been sex between the Man and the Woman. A carnal mind would think this was possible or done because of any number or thoughts that would enter their mind. However if we keep with the story and the scripture how it's presented to us, we see that Adam KNEW his wife after their (HIS) transgression.

BEFORE: Gen 3:23 - 24 So he drove out (Transgression) the MAN; (not the woman (Eve) that was with him. [key NOTE]

AFTER: Gen 4:1 - And Adam KNEW his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain. [The word KNEW is relating to physical SEX or intercourse or an awareness of something concrete from YAHWEH.]

It was after the Transgression that physical SEX was performed for the purpose of baring off spring. It's critical to NOTE that the MAN was cast out of the Garden, the woman followed. Remember there is a PATTERN of HEAVENLY things that one is to keep in mind. Also remember who is writing this tale. MOSES is atop Mount Sinai writing the things he is shown, some [known] thousands of year before. It is also there the the pattern (Tabernacle) of heavenly things is given to MOSES in order that we now may see (via thought) just how things came into being!

Thank you as alway for the the questions. If you would like to discuss more about the answer provided please feel free to post or contact us directly via the website.
