Is Hell & Heaven a place?

In my school kids also say HELL is under the earth and they are afraid to go to hell. Is hell and heaven a place people go to when they die?

Where is Heaven?

Kids at my school say, HEAVEN is far above the sun, moon and stars. Even above the galaxies. How is it; that heaven is that far away and where is heaven at?
